Pastor Jim Welty
Pastor Jim founded The Community Chapel in 1987 with the help of his wife Stephanie. He attended Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary. He was ordained in his home town of Lima, Ohio in 1983.
During their years at The Community Chapel, Stephanie and Jim had two daughters, Abby and Emma. Stephanie passed away in 2015 after suffering with kidney disease for six years.
Pastor Jim and his new wife, Beth (Anderson), were married on February 23, 2019. Beth was widowed in 1997. She has three children: Josh, Ben and Emily.
